New LED lights front and rear look good, and having LED front fogs hopefully won't just be to improve the looks. New touchscreen looks good, but the two buttons and dial look really out of place now. Looks like they've added keyless entry with that start/stop ignitionbutton.

Sounds like keyless entry/start will only be on some models e.g. Xcellence.

Maybe an option on other trims?

Pricing is going to be interesting considering the new trim level and specs along with the obligatory accross the board rises... Least there's more to discount :D

They've said pricing will be basically flat with more stuff included  Of course they could lower the discounts.

The new trim level is supposed to be priced like the FR

They can't hike prices without forcing people to buy the Golf. Even now if you want certain options you can only get them with the Golf

Just reading through an autocar article about the golf facelift which is expected in November and it says that the 7R will develop the same 414bhp as the R400 concept. I wonder if this means the leon cupra will gain a nice power increase as it'll be allowed over VW's 296bhp previous 7r. I'm sure everyone would appreciate that!.... with awd

If that is true the power these cars could produce for the price is insane.

Interesting both the presenter and Seat guy talk about an upcoming digital dashboard, sounds like Virtual Cockpit, but can't help thinking it wouldn't come with Google Maps...

Isn't the digital dashboard the instruments? Google maps would be on the 8inch screen. No?

The idea of digital instruments doesn't appeal to me.

The virtual cockpit is more than just instruments. Have a look on audi's website. It's a 12 inch screen displaying all sorts on it. Pretty much covers the entire bit where the instruments go.

Okay but Android auto and all the apps would still be on the 8inch screen. Isn't that right?

I think so, only the new generation of infotainment support better integration with carplay if I remember correctly (Like showing navigation on the display between dials, so maybe even better integration with VC).
