alright guys

few of you as well as me got the exhuast from BF in the group buy
few of you id imagine are getting the CEL light from the secondary sensor.

I know how to sort this but here is the problem and where i need your advice & solutions.

I ordered the spark-plug non foulers AND the angle block from the US.

Just had the car in the pit at work and the secondary sensor is on the TOP of the pipe-so there isnt enough room to get the angle block on, let alone get the secondary sensor back in.

There looks like there is only enough room to get ONE of the non-foulers on which prob isnt enough to escape the code.

Only other option i see is the map out the sensor.

Just wanted to know how you guys are getting on???
Moff, Cowie etc etc.

Cheers

my sensor is on the side. just turn your Cat one pitch matey.

Although it is an LCR... they should be similar, if your cat section is straight, undo it and turn it.

Im also having this problem with the powerflow cat i had fitted last thurs. CEL came on sunday evening when starting the car already warm, Faults cleared on Vag-Com and again today the CEL came on, starting from cold after work.

If anybody knows how i can have the secondary sensor mapped out to avoid this could you please let me know.
Thanks!!!

again yours is an R... and im quite sure the LC systems are 100cel

davebnly, im looking into this as we speak. CC do it, and a few others. But basically means you have to get the car performance mapped

i looked a tris and amanda's cupra's and the only way i can see is to have the probe moved to the side like the LCR systems, also the cupra ones need the exhast to be dropped down which is another pain in the ass!

its gonna be difficult
blocking the existing hole and drilling/welding another is ALOT of work for something that still might not work

only 100% solution i see is having it mapped out
