hi mate. that post might help. IIRC, you go into modules and select central conv. Then in there its one of the earlier settings - if you just scroll through 1 at a time it lists what each does - if u dont recognise the name then dont touch it. You should see an auto lock/delock settings and then alarm settings....

Here are the instructions from my site to enable autolock/delock - the alarm chirp and alarm sensors are in the same place i think:

Open Up VAG-COM, and goto "Select Control Module"
Select module 46 - "Central Convenience"
In the Advanced Options section, click on Adaptation - 10
Open Channel 3, change the value from 0 to 1 and save
Open Channel 4, change the value from 0 to 1 and then save.
Close the controller, and close VAG-COM.
Take your key out of the ignition - You should hear your doorlocks open (or try to if they already are)

i think thats right anyway mate - have a check yourself. Just dont change anything if you are unsure.

wicked - there you go mate - channel 5's the one you want ;)
Two values are 0 and 1. (zero being off and 1 being on i think)
