got it booked in for a remap tweak next week aswell. gonna miss inters too ! will get pics up soon when ive stipped engine down to see the damage.

Bad news but not all is lost if you have only bent a rod it's fairly easy to fix valves are cheap ish i would go uprated talk to issam from INA he will sort you out a good price I got all my bits from him say dan underwood sent ya 
, rods are about £260 depending if you have bent the valves there not that dear i have uprated ones , depends how mad you want to go tho

Update,
Finally got the engine to turn over after a few days so no bent rods or cambelt failure.
Took Sump off and found shrapnel inside , checked big end bearings, all ok except cylinder 4 Been flattened and burt badly so there is my problem, im guessing suspected oil pump failure which caused it to dry out and seize up Just hoping nothing is too badly damage. taking the crank to a specialist soon to be checked out.

took Crank to specialist and being reground now so hopefully can buy replacements bearings etc and be back on road soon

Yea remember u mate , was gonna get it together this weekend but the guy who reground the crank gave me the wrong thrust washers ! So now gotta wait for them, will put the head back on tomorrow though

Rebuilt Update!
So after 7 weeks of waiting and rebuilding finally got it back together and now back on the road.
Replaced:
Big end bearings,
Main bearings,
Thrust Washers
Crank/Piston reground,
Headgasket,
Oil pump,
Clutch,
Flywheel,
Oil
Coolant
CTS
Maf
But got problems already!
Now back on the road it doesnt run right. No fault codes atm.
on a cold start it sounds awful, like on 3 cylinders for about a minute then settles down, but if revved while cold it will stall and wont start back up!
Once driving it drives great but vacuum on boost gauge doesnt seem right (jerky), Turbo stalls (flutters) everytime i let off accel pedal, car doesnt feel as powerful as it used to.
Need a little help on what to look for have looked around the engine and have put everything back together fine (i think)

Update
Turbo flutter is now sorted ! T-piece for boost gauge was in wrong way round all good now.
No more missfire on start up now seems to have sorted itself out drives great now !
