dnt know wat to as the company that i bought them from said they take about 2 weeks to settle in and the garage that fitted them said give it a week and il notice it, but i dont want to leave it too long as it will be out of the return time alowance.

took it to my mate who does my mechanical work tnite and he thinks it has dropped a little bit and he said it will take time to drop but obviously i dont want to leave it too long

its a 1.6 petrol mate

in my opinion you have been supplied with springs for a deisel 130/150 :(
these springs are made stronger in order to support the heavier weight of the deisel engine hence not lowering the front of your car because there is insufficent weight from the petrol engine to "weigh" it down, best bet is to ask your supplier to check they have issued yuo with correct springs gor a petrol, if they give you speil about all the springs being the same they havn't got a clue and i would ask for a full refund and point out their error in item description!
hope this helps mate

forgot to add, the reason i know this is because i once fitted springs which were designed for a petrol to a deisel car and the front could not handle the weight because they were too soft and designed for a lighter front end ;)

I emailed the company last night with pictures as requested by them, this morning I rang them and asked if they had recieved my email and they said yes and that they had forwarded it to gmax and were waiting for a reply so fingers crossed.

after it settle if it doesn't drop enough, check the strut spacer... I took off mine and drop an extra inch...

what do you mean as my spring is sat on the base of the strut and then a metal piece at the top i havent got no spacer on there, what does it look like?

also when the spring sits in the strut where shud the end of the coil be sat in the strut?

end of coil should be in the spring stop, on the base of the strut

im too thinking they are from a diesel mate....

whered you get them from and is it online so we can check?

just checked the gmax website and the only spring kit they do for a seat leon 1.6 16v is a 20mm lowering spring kit, but the company I bought them from are saying that they were gmax 40mm springs:blink:

Got a result finally

:D

After loads of diggin around found out that gmax dont make 40mm springs only 20 mm
contacted them with this information and the company involved said that they would look into it.

After 2 hours i recieved a phone call saying that it was theyr mistake and asked if i wanted a full refund and keep the springs so i welcomed it with open arms and a big:D

so im now ordering a new set from my local vw specialist 2morow which is a kit for 45mm
but im worried that if my back end is aparently already 20mm and its on its guts so i dread to see what 45 is like but all i want is the fronts and keep the rears

what does every1 think i shud do now?

also thanks to everyone that has helped me over the last couple of days MAHUUSSIVE THUMBS UP PPL
