Ahh

Well the fronts are on one side, and mostly removed from the other.

But I have the bottom shock bolt stuck, and with no way of getting it out normally - so I will be applying heat tomorrow.

Nearside ARB link & Lower wishbone currently on order after I cut the shock off with an angle grinder, and went through a few bits at the same time.

The lower damper bolt has corroded onto the lower shock bush, no amount of plus gas or heat was shifting it sadly.

Should be on the ground (literally) next weekend all things being well.

It really is an hour here, an hour there. Then ordering bits that arrive next day, but I have to wait until I'm back home to fit.

PITA really.

Woot

Enough parts arrived that meant I could wield my angle grinder & remove the old lower wishbone that I had damaged while trying to cut off the old suspension.

Anyway, new wishbone on, mostly new bolts all round & the 'new' damper fitted.

Dropped off the axle stands & just about got my low entry jack out from underneath. Proceeded to drive out of the garage & ripped off the bumper mounted fog light, turned it round & parked it out front of the house, ground out the chassis rails on the smallest of humps

Looks cool as hell, as I fitted my offset, small front number plate & new small rear plate also.

Now it's too warm to sit in the sun & finish off the wiring work I need to complete inside, but it's getting there!

Pics later on when it's less bright

I think the rears have settled a lot more over the past couple of weeks.

It's going to be sat for a week or two now, so I'll probably raise them up, silly low is funny, but needs 8" rims to pull it off

I just had a drive in a 1993 Eunos Roadster and it was the most fun I have had in a car in a long time. So quick, engine noise was awesome and stuck to the road like glue, albeit I only had a 5 minute ride around Purley which isn't at all easy to let rip around.

Great great fun though. Just tying to find a quote for insurance on it. I might be tempted to buy it hahah.

quite a lot cheaper than list price :) They had it as a BIN price as the normal starting bid

Cage arrived yesterday, so I'll set about getting that fitted later on.

It has BIG plates for the rear arch mounts, so I will talk to Stu about getting the welder out on those, I'm sure they'll be fine with just being bolted, but this won't hurt

Interior is mostly back together now too, so all my new wiring is tidier too now.
