Cruised back at 80mph or more. Just was gentle & used cruise a lot. UL95 too.

And yeah, the MX5 hasn't done better than 28mpg since decat.

DSG is a lot better drive than a torque converter.

Sometimes I quite enjoy (read most of the time) sticking it in D & just getting to my destination.

Try one, you'll either get it or you won't... but I'll wager it's the future.
 
next time i go to a dealer im definatly going to give one a go im just a bit worried i will enjoy it i think.
i think you might be right in saying its the future as it will be a way of bringing the costs down being on the road in comparison to a manual vehicle.
