OK, so took my wife out for a lap this afternoon - nothing new there, but it was cool (for reasons only one person in this thread knows ;)

Anyway, had some more laps by myself.

Most amusing quote from a Clio 200 with R888's was "can I follow you round, see how we compare" - I went through the gates with him, never saw him again.

Car has done well, no hiccups, excellent mpg when required & actually handles well. I came up behind an almost identical 172 Cup to my old one... not fast.

Looking forward to getting back to the UK now, leaving early doors tomorrow as I'm out tomorrow night.

Surprised Clio 200 with those tires on it didn't put up a better showing.

I think they just lack the torque you need here with the hills.

Just downloaded a gps log of a trafficked lap, quite interesting (in a nerdy way)

Slow things
Clio's
Suzi Swifts on R888's
Scirroco's
MX5's
BMW's (of cooking variants)

Things I expected to be a lot faster, but weren't that much faster
Astra VXR, tuned, caged, R888's
Corvette C6

Things which made me look pedestrian
GT3's
GT2's
CSL's

Rear ARB works

Home now.... 450m+ tank - drove about last night in Nurburg for dinner, drove home the long way and from Dover to Portsmouth all on the same tank.

Got to decide which photo's I like, as a few pay sites have them - and although it's a bit of an ugly car front on, I quite like the pics!

Nice tripo action, Mark  Rear ARB makes a big difference.. (think thats the one of the oics you need to get)

Great MPG, too. Wish I got half as good as that :(
