Wow.

ARB fitted from sitting in the lounge & thinking "I could fit that" to sat back down having fitted & run round the block - 40mins. And included drinking a cuppa.

Results? from a run around the estate - all of a sudden the car turns in properly & the bolsters on the seat actually do something other than make contact with my love handles.

I'll go for a run over the weekend most likely - but that was a quick & easy install.

Exhaust is rusting up nicely ;)

Telford ay it...
I've not commented yet.....nice motor, shocked to how good it looks in red.

That ARB is the best thing I have done to my mk4, reduced my time around Curborough as proof to its greatness. It also wears nearside rear tyres :)

Was really fed up with the ride today, so took off to the petrol station to check tyre pressures.

A round 42psi all round. Good PDI there then....

Now at the recommended 36/29 and I'll see how I go from there (probably slightly less at the front & slightly more at the rear based on the much much smoother & comfier ride home.

The drive to work in the morning over the breaks in the A3M will let me know how much of an improvement it's been

Being cautious, and also 'waiting' for the right product - I'm Stage 1 Revo'd now.

I can honestly say, it just makes the car how it should have come from the factory. Economy wise, when I wasn't playing - it was happily cruising at Motorway speeds at 42-45mpg which is cracking from a car that'll do 60 in 5s

Also while playing around the roundabouts of MK, the rear ARB was put into test... I swear it even gave up a little lift-off oversteer, which is a novelty for this platform!

I'm biding my time on the exhaust - I'm totally happy with the mapping idea, but I've fitted (or tried to fit) so many Milltek's in the past that I'll wait and see who else comes to market. It also seems bloody loud - and if I want loud I'll go out in the MX5, not at 6.30 when I'm off to work.

End result, it's now getting closer to the 'feel' of pace the Clio had, when in effect it's now considerably quicker.

Just software - yet to decide on a filter right now. ITG/Revo Panel looks good value, but their intakes look interesting also

Are you still getting a squeak at 3000rpm, i have it and its my supercharger clutch slipping, dont think theres a fix but techie said theres a fix that we cant retro fit to ours which is a shame, it will probs get worse at around 5000miles thats how mine played out.

what clio did you have? How would you say it handles with the ARB in comparison to the clio.

It seems to have stopped recently, but I've only done about 500 miles since the update, almost all of which have been motorway miles

A very ungrown up 172 Cup, on Eibach pro springs. It doesn't have the turn in or livelyness of the chassis, but the ARB gets it in the right direction. But the Ibiza seems to have a lot more mechanical grip.

Will let you know in two weeks once I've taken it to the derestricted toll road :)
