cheers matey i will keep that in mind.i rang a mate at a parts place he works out and i got the part for £71.26

i bought one from GSF for my AUQ Cupra about 3 weeks ago, cost me £60 but if you send the old one back you get a £25 surcharge refund. Recommend GSF, fast delivery and excellant service, also very helpful and friendly staff. Any parts i need in the future will be bought from them.

Also, buy the origianl Bosch unit, don't buy the cheaper alternatives, the bosch ones are better and only cost lightly more. My local dealer quoted £80 + VAT for refurbed one and £180 for new Bosch one......i almost fainted when they told me

i did have a look at the site but could not find one

Can't you also do an exchange for a new one from the dealers but at a better price than £180 though?

I know £180 is alot but if you can get it cheaper, surely it'll last longer than a refurb?

And remember - don't use an oiled air filter, or you'll be doing it all again no time soon!!

Mine went about 2 weeks ago. So I paid £90 for a Bosch exchange one from a dealer. So that I didnt have to pay the £50 surcharge on the old unit I changed it in the dealers car park.

I did notice cheaper ones on Ebay but am now glad that I got the exchange Bosch unit because its of a known quality.

Hiya mate,

How do i find the MAF sensor on the gsf website? Not sure which category to look under!!! :s

Thanks dude.

quick question, ran some logs on my car last night, was reading like 180g/m (or whatever it is) air flow at max, its been between 150-180...on a CC phase 2, shouldnt it be nearer the 210 mark?

would this be my MAF on its way out? i still return decent mpg so it looks ok..dont know if a quick clean will sort it out?
