Mk2 Leon BTCC Chassis - For Sale on eBay

Just for interest, there's a Mk2 Leon BTCC Chassis for sale on ebay.

Apparently it's a brand-new unused chassis, prep'd by Seat Sport. But is minus an engine etc.

Reserve is only @ £8k, although I reckon it will go for a lot more.

Hmmm well yes and no i think

You can legally drive a stripped out car but i think that might have to many "Racing" parts for it to pass a MOT

could you drive around in that everyday? i dont think i could put up with the constant attention but would love to have it as a Weekend car

Yup, and repainted in 2008 livery thats its currently in, they had this, a TDiFR in the same BTCC 2008 livery, and a plain yellow Cupra Cup Car with Casio branding parked outside the SEAT Sport hospitality suite during the 2008 season

We had a couple of these over the years and I expect some of them are still doing the rounds on dealer forecorts (or they should be because they're worth a pretty penny). They are shells.
