I've been reading up on head / fog light posts during tonights very interestin ( not ) nightshift , ended up ordering phillips x-treme power H1 and H7 's with osram nightbreaker H3 's for my fogs . Was that wise ?

Yes, I've used the Philip Xtreme Power H7s and Osram Nightbreaker H1s and been impressed by both. They're probably the best compromise between getting more light on the road without having to drill the headlight covers to fit an aftermarket HID kit.

You should be fine with them

I've also tried the X-Tremes and the Nightbreakers and was impressed with both now using the Ring Xenon Max 100% bulbs which are about the same but maybe a smidgen better

nice 1 , i ordered them from a website called POWERBULBS , they seem to have good reviews . waiting for the postie now ... if he ever comes !!

fitted the new bulbs today , i'd recommend if your a bit of novice like me to follow the advice i read from a post on SCN . It advised using a mirror to get a " better plan of attack " to help unclip and remove / refit bulb also start with the passenger side for easier access . thanks for the help .
