Hi - Help, my head has turned to mush!

I've spent the morining ploughing through the forums looking for the answer to this problem.............
I have sourced some Ibiza R brembo calipers (for the 305, 4x100mm disc) and need to know if they will fit under the standard MKII 16v alloys? I know I need a clearance of 38mm but do not know the offset of the standard 16v 16"alloys or how big a spacer needs fitting to allow the conversion. I do know that they will not fit under MKIII standard cupra alloys.

I've got Bill's template printed off but I'll not be in the garage for another couple of days yet and am being lazy cos it's cold outside!

I also need to know what special bits I need to make up or buy from GSF etc to convert. Can anyone help with a definative answer? Cheers.

Calliper and pad part no's are 6KL615124 & 6KL615123 respectively.

I think youll find they fit under the standard Seat Sport Oz Super T`s but not the standard cupra rims so anything with a bigger offset than them should be fine i would assume, please correct me if im wrong, also i think the ET36/38? again please correct me if im wrong.

Ooops - this cold be getting expensive.

Can you help further?

I'd like to keep the car as standard looking a poss but at this rate it looks cheaper to go to 5 stud and get more options. If I do watch out on E-bay in the next few weeks for some shiney beezer R callipers.

Do you have any idea of how much I need to increase the offset or spacer thickness to make it all work?

If your looking to keep it standard and get some new wheels aswell keep an eye out for some Seat Sport OZ Super T`s, i brought a set of 5 with tyres for £450 and i think i payed abit over the top,

But i did get the carbon fibre engine cover thrown in free ;)

Like everyone said, the standard cupra alloys, won't fit.... I know someone on here as done it using 5mm spacers and machined the bells to fit but thats a bit of a custom jobby he did.

If you wanna keep it as standard as possible then your best bet so to go for the Seat Sport Super Ts.

Grey Super T's don't look miles off the silver ronals (and would look better because they're not going to corrode & peel)

Cheers for all the pointers so far folks.

I've had a few MKII cordies and Ibizas now and the brakes are bobbins.

My problem is I have 2 sets of multispoke 16v alloys one set with part worn gravel michelin's on and the other normal Toyo road tyres. It took me ages to get hold of the gravel spec tyres and I'm on a serious budget. Still need a sumpguard!!!!

So, I'm going to shelve the Brembos or put them on my Leon or Swap for LCR brembos etc and now try..................

Audi S2/UR big 2pot calliper on standard discs and put a larger master cylinder on to get some feel back. These take the G60 pad as standard and the mounts look very close indeed.

Anyone tried this??????????
