Ive just ordered some Michelin PSS tyres to replace my Bridgestones.

Dealer called today, my car should be with them in around 4 weeks time.
I order on the 3rd of June so that would make it 11 weeks for delivery.

I'm going to ask for it to be registered on a 65 plate and hopefully pick it up on the 1st September.

Lucky you. I very nearly ordered the blackline, but didn't so I'm still waiting for the standard wheels despite ordering April 17

Glad to read this as I also ordered the black line pack in June.

When I hinted to the dealer that I expect a long wait and I'm cool with that he was looking at me odd and implying I'd have the car for September with no known delays.

I'm not bothered about updates from dealers so no idea how close to reality the above is.

I know the sub 8 is expensive but think the skirts & multi black wheels

really make the car look great

ordered 2nd july soooo..... yawn

anyway question - virtually everything you want can be specified in a factory build car

EXCEPT TYRES ? I don't mean the special tyres in the sub 8 pack

I mean how do you know what brand of tyre your brand new car will

come fitted with ?

Just had the phone call to say my car has arrived at the Dealers. Ordered 17th April was told that because of delays with wheels would be manufactured week 37. It has arrived week 30

I had no idea it was on the way. The last update I had at the end of Jun was that it was still week 37 manufacture. I've been busy trying to be patient so this has come as a very pleasant surprise!

Is the black line pack with it those wheels worth it? I mean the cupra has so much black trim already and those wheels don't change with the black pack so isn't the only thing you get the extra spoilers on the rear window?

I've ordered blackline pack and personally prefer the wheels on that than the standard ones. All the extra black sits well with the colour I've chosen...Nevada white. Is it worth the extra money? I think so but its all down to choice.

Sorry I thought you'd gone for the multi spoke alloys. Yeah if you've got the standard design wheels then adding the black pack is worth it to add the black details to it
