Trying to get Carista working on my main phone where I have a few pics, posting later.

Some first impressions. It is absolutely gorgeous. Glad I went with mag grey although it looks great in all colours IMO. It is also plenty fast enough for now. I think it goas faster than ut feels though. Lovely top end power compared to my GTI. Feels very planted on the road. Soundaktor I do not like but instead of turning off completely since I have an ST which is too quiet I set it at 20% until I do something about intake. Exhaust will probably stay stock.

Road noise is definitely there. Might sound proof doors in spring. My 18" winter wheels I just put on are decent, nothing fancy but looks better than most cheap winter wheels at least.

Beats sound is good but not fantastic. Wife's Harman Kardon in her F20 1 series sounds a bit better still I think. Not too important for me anyway.

Seats are great, I have the sport seats, not buckets. Also got kessy, wireless charger and PDC.

Best part is of course how it drives. It isn't lightweight (ST) but feels nimble. Deceptively quick off the line.

Nevada white Leon Cupra Lux has arrived. Picking it up Thursday. Cannot wait! Picking it up unvaleted to ensure I can get the paintwork and wheels protected without the dealer induced swirl marks I have been told about. Does anybody else do this?

Under back seat and complete back section need sound proofing too.i did with fr st and big different.
Need same treatment for cupra and proper tyres too.
The music quality much better but just online radio or youtube. Uk radios terrible no matter dab or fm.

Finally some positive news.

Seat CS have emailed to say their systems are now showing my car was loaded onto the Pegasus Ace last week and is now been unloaded at Grimsby docks.

Now just another 4 weeks for it to be transported to the dealership

Wonder if mine made it also going by last excuse I got with reduced number of ships running and stopping in UK I have my doubts...

Although prev to this my last ETA at delearship was 09/12...a week sounds 'reasonable' in ordinary terms...not so much for Seat, going by their track record on here tho.

Yup another Swede, we're a few This spec is the most common over here as it is part of a discounted "Cupra" package which includes these options. So it's Kessy, Beats, wireless charger, PDC front and back (not standard here for some reason).

I would have liked the option of beats. Probably the only thing I would have added to my car if we had a bigger options list here in the UK.
I love kessy, one of my favourite things about the car. The parking sensors are good but I reckon with such a small car I could do without. Probably more use in an ST. Heated windscreen nozzles and reservoir came in handy for me on Saturday when it was -7 here.

Just received an update from LO saying my 290 Lux is due to the dealers on 17/1.... meh

I've asked if I can pick up although they haven't confirmed I could they said to ask closer to the time, think the Car is coming to DM Keith in Leeds for all the LO cars so it's not a long drive there (based in Bury) plus the drive back would be a lot more fun If the car ever bloody arrives that is. Never had a brand new car before so kind of like the idea of going to a dealer and seeing it all new and not driven properly yet

I went for Mag Grey, didn't have the option of blue when I ordered and thought changing it might delay it further, turns out it wouldn't have made a difference :')

Tell me about it. I've had my car 6 months almost and it's worth more than I paid for it. I've not seen a Cupra Lux with 1.7k miles advertised for less than £22k yet. This will end when all the lease cars start coming back and the new shape is released though in around a year's time. I expect the value to plummet.

Mystery blue there is another mystery blue on my estate and it is stunning, what colour did you get

2 blue ones with copper badges round where I live. Seems to be a very popular colour. In Edinburgh I've seen a number of blue, a few white ones and a black about too but still not seen a red, grey (except mine) or silver with the copper badges.

I ordered start of October they have now said it should be with the dealer by 10th of January but I cannot see me getting it till end of Jan start of feb

Mines sitting in an unconfirmed build and been like that for weeks.
