The order was placed just before xmas, so guess it was then as I didn't get any further news untill yesterday telling me due in march.
blackline pack or not ???
Hi guys, i'm close to ordering a Cupra 280, 5 door in white .... i'm a little confused by the black line pack though, its hard to asses from the shots on the NET which cars have it and which don't ... does anyone on here have a white 5 door with the black line pack ???
Other options i'm looking to tick, leather and manual gearbox

After my 24 hour test drive I've bitten the bullet and ordered. I had the spec in mind I wanted and luck would have it they had one at port in one of my 2 choices in colour, so getting it for 1st March (with my 15 private plate on it... yay!).

Exactly the same spec as mine, I posted some pics a few pages back when I got it on 30th December.
Cracking car and no issues yet. Did my first genuine overtake today, the overtake ability is off the charts
In situations you wouldn't dream of trying in any normal engine car, the Cupra does fast and safely.

I have the SC but the colour is the same, good choice.

Do what I do to pass the time... spend shed loads of money on accessories... car cleaning products, fan washer jets, winter tyres with alloys...
Just been told my car has a Week 17 build date.. so probably end of May before I see it. And I ordered it in November... And that was after they'd told me it would be built in January.... Never mind spending money on the cleaning stuff etc, I might have to get something else just to fill the gap!!!

I wouldn't worry about that too much. I was originally told 15th Jan, then it was pushed back to the 30th Jan.
Next thing I know I get a call around 20th Dec to say they've had the car in the showroom for a week and want to know if they can deliver it asap !
I was given a Week 2 build date, was then brought forward to Week 46. Picked up end of November.
Gosh - doesn't say much for their planning! I thought that, being a part of a German Group they'd be well organised but it doesn't sound it. With German cars you often get given a website to login to and you can see exactly where your own order is......
Ah but that's ze Germans for you, Seat are the somewhat dysfunctional cousins......
Got an update on my car getting built next week
Got the same phone call yesterday too, told it should be in the stealers for mid to late Feb but have agreed to pick it up early March on a 15 plate. That extra few weeks wait is going to be torture.
