I've been running a Cupra bumper on my PD130 Sport without problems for nearly 2 years. However I had to modify the main front grille to allow air to the smic. It's fairly easy to do and now I reckon airflow to my smic has increased.right so theres no point getting a cupra bumper on my TDi Sport because it wont deliver enough air flow? but i like the way they look
i have a 2007 facelift model, just wondering, would just replacing the rear bumper with a cupra bumper look alright and keep the front bumper standard?
has anyone done this?
Rear bumper 6L6 807 417 Q
Rear Reflectors 6L5 945 105
6L5 945 106
Bumper lower Insert 6LL 807 521
could i just order all these and do a straight swap?
Ah good stuff cheers, regarding foglights ? hows that ? are they allocated same place as the mk4 sx ?the bumper will fit straight on....... foglights might be an issue though....
Leon Cupra R splitter is a common "add-on" for a MK.4 Ibiza.Ah good stuff cheers, regarding foglights ? hows that ? are they allocated same place as the mk4 sx ?
Anyone no where i can pick up the splitter from ? or am i looking at a seat dealer jobby
I have the 04plate 1.2 sx hopefully will find one at a good price, cheers for the help ladsPlacement will be the same - But there are two types of foglight. The Cupra bumper needs the round faced (Convex) foglights whereas the facelift Mk4 FR bumper has flat angled foglights.
What age is your car?
By splitter do you mean the LCR splitter? Then yes, probably the cheapest place you will get it will be the dealers (There are people selling them on eBay for £40 plus shipping...)
they come up on ebay quite regularhi iv had my tdi sport a while and have decided i need a new front end as i have just got a cupra rear. apart from dealers where can i get a cupra front bumper, would also consider a facelift fr if it was complete with fogs as i am not willing to pa 150 for fogs
