I have an ecomotive MK4 with standard 14" steel rims at the moment, and trying to figure out what alloys will fit - any ideas?

Cheers for that - wouldnt have thought to search for audi wheels! How big alloys cud i get away wiv?

Usually people go with 17" max, some do 18" but in my opinion, it's a bit big for the car, plus you might have some scrubbing issues

Yeah I think 18 would be a bit big, I've seen some good deals on 16 and 17 in halfords - cant decide on a style tho...?

hello guys,

i have on Ibiza 6L 18inch 7.5J Momo wheels. It fits OK,enogh place for wheels by turning.

This is interesting, does this mean these wheels will fit my 05 ibiza cupra tdi for winter ?

right im after another set of 17" alloys for next winter for winter tyres. so what size are the cupra alloys? and what do all these numbers mean?

i've no got a clue

Cupra standard rim size is 7x17".
7" being the width.

ET of the stock rims is 41, but anything between 35 & 42 is fine.
PCD (bolt pattern) is 5x100 and the center bore is 57.1mm

Hey, sorry to bring up this thread again, but has anyone fitted the seat sport 4 pots behind the TT 6 spokes! think the ET is 33 or 32! if they have do i need spacers?

cheers!

i have just tried them on - and they fit with about 5 mm to spare! had to take the hub off my car to check but all is good!
The tt alloys are off to refurb now! thinking anthrocite with silver to lighten them up a bit!

The ET on my TT 6 spokes is 32 just in case anyone is interested!

cheers

Hi Guys
Just bought these - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/X4-SEAT-IBIZA...arParts_SM?hash=item3efc644084#ht_2959wt_1051

7x17" - Panicing as they might not fit the car, I have a CUPRA with 4 Pot AP's
Some say the ET is 35+ others say the ET is 42, I can't find a definitive answer anywhere, can anyone help?
Also Is a higher ET better or worse? If the ET is 35 will the brakes touch the alloys but if their 42 it shouldnt?

HALP!!!

well it says in the ebay ad that they will fit cars with BBU engine which is Cupra 20VT. Standard Cupra wheels are ET41. The smaller the ET number, the further out the alloys will be IIRC. For example, my standard cupra wheels are ET41 but the 15mm spacers on the rear make the rear ET26

Something like that anyway :D

It's not just the ET which effects calliper clearance. The actual shape of the spokes will determine whether they will fit or not. You could get the ET correct by using spacers, but then the wheel may stick too far out of the arch

hello, can anyone tell me the center bore of the seat ibiza FR hub???
iv recently had my car lowered, and FR facelift 17" alloys painted white, and i want spacers for the rear, i have found somewith PCD 5x100 & 57.1mm centre bores. and not sure if they will fit? can someone enlighten me please .
