yes the boot is on a solenoid and soon to be actuator to pop the boot open, the leon mechanism isnt as simple as i thought! Easy to do if you have the skills, weld up the existing hole then paint over the top.
I cant drive it as low as i want at the moment becuase of the drive shafts on the anti roll bar so soon to fit some uprated anti roll bars

Now have a ARB on its way for the front to be able to clear the drive shaft to drive lots lower! getting a matching rear ARB to suit

Recently had a fair bit of work done to my leon, jsut got my wheels back today so gave them a good polish up and fitted them to the car.
Had rayvern hydrualics work their magic last month then the car went to kustom kandy for some paint work.
Got a few tweeks left to do, finish the boot lock and rebuild my dash, but hey here she is from the outside! loving the results.
few pics taken up the road, hoping to get some more quality pics in some good locations soon.

very nice mate, really loving that now, i was i fan with the golf wheels and wasn't sure about these at the time in the previous pics but seeing it now with them all cleaned....works a treat imo

definately wanted to do something different, i know most leons go for the performance mods as they're such great cars, wanted to get the car on the show scene and see what i could do.
The car looks sweet as but on the bottom pic of your first post - the front wheel looks TOTALLY lost in the front wheel arch. Keep with the Golf lookalikeys and the job is minted. Changed my mind - seen newer pics and looks good!

glad you all love the car guys, unfortunately i've had to sell the merc rims, really gutted but the roads in my area trashed them, pot holes galour! on the hunt for something simular, 18 by 10" on the rears and 18 by 8.5 on the front end, air ride is working perfect, handling is awesome! just mounting some digital illuminated guages in the dash, boot release is in progress, using two door poppers to push the boot past the lock when the solenoid is activated.
