I don't have a clue how you manage to run that, mine is still standard height and there are two places that I can't avoid the splitter scraping on my trip to work each day.

Got a lot of time for that though, looks fantastic, the eyebrows remind me of a transformers look haha. Love the wheels too, great job!

Speedbumps are a nightmare, i might get a hold of another splitter for shows. Because the one on the car is going to get destroyed on my roads. Im out in the countryside and you wouldnt believe the roads i have to drive on. Pothole central.

Cheers anyway mate

nice work defo get some azevs ive been trying to find some aswel to spray in black. im guessing your running droplinks? also where and how much did you pay for the rear bumper?

You will be hard pushed to find another set, i found these by blind luck. Never even considered them until i was told they were for sale by a friend. Im not running a anti roll bar, took it out. I got my bumper of a place called the spoiler centre over here, its a genuine bumper bought in from SEAT and was never lifted. So i got it for 190 quid

How much clearance do you have on your front bumper?! How on earth do you get over speed bumps?!

Looks amazingly shiney in the first pics above, love it. The glossed splitter looks immense too! Buying one for my car tomorrow, might gloss it up before I put it on, hmm..

I have about 1.5 inches of clearance - pics dont show it but its seriously low. I had the splitter off for a while and decided to match it to the badges, alot of sanding, primed, 2 coats of black and 2 coats of laquer and it definitley stands out. Cheers mate

I fitted the splitter to my car over the weekend and have 13cm clearance at standard height and am parinoid about scraping it over speed bumps and stuff. I really havent got a clue how you survive! Any tips? lol

You will only scrape the underside of the splitter, i wouldnt worry about it as the splitter can take a serious amount of bashing and wont harm your bumper.

Try to go over speedbumps at a angle so the wheel touches it first, i can get over pretty high speedbumps and slopes without even touching the splitter.

im thinking of fitting my front cupra R bumper on soon .

isit preety hard to do it or isit easy mate ?

I found it difficult enough the first time but ive left it down to the bodyshop to do any work with the car so i wont have to deal with it again lol. Im more useful with mechanical things

Oh, when I was cutting it it seemed pretty soft. Was worried that scraping one time would really ruin the front edge/crack it/rip it off the bottom of my bumper.

Cool, will try and go over at angle from now, could be hard on busy roads though lol

Cheers

As always take your time and you will be fine! I need a new one right enough, back roads with grass in the middle dont agree with a low car lol
