My first track day at Alford

Its a short coarse in Alford nr Aberdeen. It was a good day and a learning curve for me.

Had 3 attempts untill the rain called it off and took its firs victim.

I wish i'd known that was on, i was there a few years ago, good fun. I think my time was around 76secs which i thought was quick enough, then my mate went on in his pink nova and set a time of 64secs! to be fair the nova was build for it.

Yeah had a good day, missis said she had her hands over her face for the first lap

Managed a 73.103sec lap, of which i could have improved on.

No, not on this track, not sure why, its only a short test/sprint coarse.

Track was quite grippyish, i had a mate on board who owns a subaru impreza and he was suprised by the handling of my leon and its breaking and grip levels.

Indeed i do Danny 15mm H&R spacers on the rear suplied by Bill (badger).

Unfortunately my plates have been confiscated by the Law, but i got them from dubmeister.
So im now going to to admit defete and just get a smaller one made up for the front.
