There is definately fuel getting in plugs are getting wet after cranking over so I'll eliminate that for now I have been deleting my codes as they come up and I'm having my boss's welded into my intake and intercooler so I can get the n75 on and my dump valve on

Haven't Been able to get to the car either typical of my luck I lost my only van key but has been found now lucky enough so I can get my tools out and get on with finding spark

wwwwwwwoooooooo hhhhhhhoooo it runs :):):):) all my fault really i removed the wot box and left the wires in and as the wot box cuts the ignition to operate the launch/no lift shift setting i had removed the box so there was no full connection so i just cut the wires off and twisted together the wires for the time being and i had spark so instantly got the plugs back in and give it a turn it fired straight away im over the moon:):):)

all i have to do now is get a gasket for the dp, new driveshaft bolts for n/s as i lost the ones i had lol, i have a local guy fitting some braided brake pipes (all goodridge) throughout the bay and into the front callipers, fit my pipes going from the bulkhead to the block fill with coolant and take it to work and get my cage fitted and paint the whole car, im so happy its unreal it'll be nice to drive it from my garage to my work and finally be able to get on with the paint side of it.

Still after some coilovers and going to buy some this week so it's either weitec hicon gt or Fk highsports I have 500 to spend so if anyone could suggest any they've used an how good they ride/handle on road and track please explain why as it's all ready almost to be taken to work to fit the cage and get it fitted and painted asap,

sorted some coilovers now got some second hand fk silverline coilovers off another member on here so well happy also first in line for other bits on the car when they are off and will update once in my hands :)

The car is going to my work tomorrow so i can get my cage welded in got some nice 3mm steel sheet so ill make some nice box section and bolt the cage to that so if i ever wanted to compete in it it would be fia approved but doubt i will due to the cost of it etc, im also going to remove all the sound deadning from the car and hopefully order myself some carbon doorcards as my doorcards now just touch the cage so its easier for me to just fit carbon ones instead of butchering mine.

also my snap off boss arrived with me this morning a week later than promised as the car is usually kept about 2 miles away and as an extra security measure i can take the steering wheel home with me from now on just have to make sure i remember to take it with me when i go back down!!

haha i was the fire watcher so all good pity we ran out of welding wire at half 2 yesterday half way through welding the box section in had 2 out of the 4 in and ran out and it had to be on a sunday where i cant just go and buy some typical!!!

also removed the sound deadening from the car what a nightmare wish i never started to be honest just have alot of mess now and a car that'll rattle my ears off, im going to refit the front half of the carpet though i dont think i could deal with the amount of noise its going to make espesially the way it'll be driven haha

also on the lookout for some carbon fibre door cards as the cage touches both front cards so ill have to either cut them which is out of the question or get carbon ones that'll look better and save weight only problem is i hope they do a kit as i really couldn't deal with the extra work needed to cut them etc as i have alot to do now and i would like this car to see the road soon and to get it to some shows :)

We have a mig in work and typical of my luck it started playing up then ran out of wire had th wait until Friday until we could get more in so all welding done on the cage boxes and took every last bit of sealer off in the scorching heat Saturday using thinners I had a massive headache when I got in but it's all done now,

Also some more updates bought some new toyo t1rs for my rotas these are road wheels and have a bit of stretch on them also fitted new top mounts ready for the new coils the others fell our in my hand lol I also splashed out on some braided hoses not your average ones mind I had some local guy who does all the welsh rally guys cars to come and fit them all throughout the bay removing the crap looking copper pipe I made it now looks amillion times better now the list is getting smaller and I'll be painting the inside+cage over Easter weekend only problem what colour to do the cage?

Dave the gasket was spot on mate I been polished the dp flange even fitted it back on already I'll get a vid up of it running to show you all I'm not telling fibs lol

so i finally painted the inside of the car not the best job by far its a nightmare painting the inside of a car i wish i could never do it again but i have to as its just not good enough its decent but being a panel beater it has to be painted again, the other issue i have is fitting the cage will ruin the floor no matter how careful i am it was murder trying to get it all in together unpainted so its going to get worse now the only option i have is to paint the cage fit it and then re-paint the inside, im not too happy about doing it that way but its the only way i can see me getting the floor to stay nice and painted although i will be refitting the front half of the carpet as it needs to be somewhat comfy to drive to shows.

i also rubbed down all the old paint off the rollcage as it was flaking off like mad not sure what happened to it before but looks like they never primed it, the other problem is that where it has been left in peoples garden it was a bit rusty had me and my mate rubbing it down took about 3 hours doing it but now its spotless and is in a fresh coat of 2pack ready to be painted and fitted in asap :):):):)

also spoke to ibiza alex via facebook and asked if he knew of anyone who could source me a set of carbon fibre doorcards and he said he could make me a set providing i supply the cardboard templates so i will be getting some of those made up asap i also asked about a group buy say 5 cars would make it a little cheaper obviously but id have to sort it out myself so could be worth looking into
