My Ibiza Cupra & Nova SR Track car

Currently drive a mk3 ibiza cupra as my day to day drive, had it a few months now and have wanted one for a while now! very pleased with it. Its not far from standard at the mo bar a few mods like, remap, filter, recirc valve, lowered only on uprated springs for now. already have a fmic to go on when i get time to fit it and some coilovers which are getting ordered next week!

Also have a track car for my weekend fun, its a MK 1 nova! may not be everyones taste but is my pride and joy. I have built it up from a bare shell and iv fitted a c20xe engine. Engines been fully rebuilt by myself and brother, fitted with QED oversized race pistons, QED 420 cams, solid lifters and QED direct to head throttle bodys running DTA managment. Custom 4-1 manifold with 2 inch primarys and 2.5 inch system.

Ye took a few years and quite a bit of £! to build the nova up, was all well worth it tho. Not quite finished yet so will be updates to come!

Had some time to fit my fmic and picked up a another set of standard alloys in anthracite, with them all fitted i thought id update my thread with some up to date pics of how its looking, coments welcome!

Still waiting for my new coilovers to arrive but will update once there are here and fitted

Loving the nova mate reminds me of when i had mine ....id still like another one now...nice cupra aswell the fmic is a bit marmite but points for individuality...Im still waiting for my coilovers aswell what ones you gone for..??

Can believe we're being so nice about a vauxhall , but i agree it looks a little tike! Also gota agree about the cooler, think it would work better with blue or black hoses. Looks great other wise!

Ye i wasn't to keen on the fmic at first, it was a bargain tho at £25 and got a few hoses and pipes and i fabricated the rest my self to make it fit. Wanted it hidden behind the bumper but the way iv mounted it wasnt possible. Think it looks ok tho now, will be getting some black hoses tho for it to not make it stand out as much!

s1l3nc3r- Iv ordered AP coilovers mate from Awesome! It will be 2 weeks monday been waiting if they dont arrive tomorrow! Rang them and they cant get hold of the supplier so i dont really when they will arrive.

Iv ordered AP coilovers mate from Awesome! It will be 2 weeks monday been waiting if they dont arrive tomorrow! Rang them and they cant get hold of the supplier so i dont really when they will arrive.

They e-mailed me the other week saying they were out of stock so would need to get them direct from AP so would be about 7 days...

I hate waiting for things...i wanted to get on and fit them on my next set of days off just got to hope they arrive before then...

Ye been up to Karl at NMS a few times now with the nova. He's done all the mapping and all the set up on the car since iv built it! Wouldn't take it anywhere else!!

Like both cars, especially the Nova. Really good example of what one should look like there. Although the number plate makes me laugh because the last 3 letters is a Scottish insult.
