They haven't even given a price yet thou (for the group buy)? I will find out how much it cost with a bit of trade discount on top from my local TPS but they are usually really expensive. dunno not buying for a while yet gonna get brakes sorted first.
I doubt I will fit this myself, bit beyond me will probably get F1 or AmD to fit it for me. But after looking at that other thread on here about fitting a Forge one that looks a nightmare!

im not on about the group buy pric eim on about the actual price they sell it for on there web site which is more then double what i paid!. dont bother with TPS just contact David at sere motors on here as he is a lot cheaper. He is a Seat dealer to but with huge discounts!
Try David for your brakes to as the Leons ran 312mm aswell.
The actual fitting of the the IC is easy and so is modding the bumper, its more of a fiddly job then a complex job.

what the heck is EGR delete?! See I am too confused I cannot fit this myself there are different kits on that site and I would not know what to buy! I like a challenge but think I will kill someone trying to fit this lol! Really twice the price?! I know the group buy will mean it is cheaper than on the website but won't be that much cheaper I guess.

the egr delete is a pipe removes the egr valve and then you need to have it mapped out or the warning lights will pop up.
the kit you need is in the link. i paid £245 for the seat sport FMIC with bracket from Sere motors and then £199 for the forge pipe work (total £444).
the only extra in that kit is 2 pipes and the egr delete pipe. they sell the extra pipes for £250. so to make there £850 odd kit up yourself it will cost you £695.00 lol.
you do the maths........ (basically that company is a rip off unless they are going to do the kit half price which i doubt).
yep the 312mm were used on mk1 TT, 8l S3, Leon Cupra's (not Cupra R), Occy VRS. so buying them from Sere might be just as cheap
oops I have prob started something on the group buy thread now lol! I will leave it now as I am not exactly trying to buy it just yet. Thanks though needs to be thought through and checked it is a good deal. I am more annoyed the thread has been going for months and they now say we are waiting for the company to give us a price what is taking so long!

i got board of waiting for that other group buy, hence why i just bought mine lol. if you need any help/advise just ask when it comes to buying/fitting the brakes or fmic or any other mods lol
Just got a PM on IOC agreeing with you lol! But we may still get a good deal on the pipework thou so I will watch out for that still. Thanks for the advice you may save me some money if the buy ever goes ahead!

when you had one reverse light with the led bulb in what was it like for lighting up the right hand kerb when parking the drivers side against the kerb? was it much better than the standard bulb for lighting up the opposite side to what the reverse light is on?

I have just done this too (had the LEDs for nearly 2 years!) and it does help I live on a farm and it's pitch black in my driveway and it helps me see better.
got my led reverse lights and your right even in the daytime they seem brighter.
didnt realise there was 501 bulbs on the back have you replaced them with led bulbs atall?
as i remember you saying somthing about the dash lights coming on with led rear bulbs just cant remember if you said it was the stop and tail bulbs or 501s.

i have not done the 501 is the rear as it makes them look really red compared to the ones next to it. yes if you use stop and tail LED it will make your dash look like a christmas tree
Yeh when I turned the fog on to see how it looked made the tail lights look so dull and not a proper red shame it can't be done, at least no one will miss me in this fog we now get in the morning! I need front ones & interior ones now, obsessed!
