there is some limiters fitted on the rear pipe junctions certain models dependant on whats fitted

i noticed when i was looking about thinking of bypassing the abs but iirc only the drum models had em fitted - another scrapyard viewing trip i think

If that is true that they are only fitted on drum models them Im sorted. Just need to get a rear beam with discs and bigger fronts.

I cant wait either lol i think about charging it everyday aswel but i just want to get the engine in and running nicely first though :p

I want to supercharge this engine eventually but then im going to buy the 2.9 corrado engine from the scrappy bore it to 3.0 build it fully forged, lightened, balanced the whole works and turbo it of course :D one of my missions in life lol

Thats a long way off though lol

Arms look like VR6 ones to me:shrug:

Currently looking at a VR6 set up for mine, will need - VR6, hub uprights, VR6 wishbones, VR6 bearings, 16v hub flanges, 16v outer CV's, Passat drive shafts and inner CV's and passat tie rods and wider arches etc

Do not use passat shafts......they are too long - use VR shafts

I started off with passat shafts but they dont give enough float in the axle and end up smashing inner CV joints
