right heres an update after a quite few months from me -
after the whole issue with the EGR cooler blowing up on me i got a new one from thePhillospier (sorry if i spelt it wrong) and its worked great until a few days ago...were this one has split to! so refitting the EGR valve and trying to trach down another EGR cooler, then once its refitted i'm going to leave it and get the EGR turned down when i get it remapped.
Next pay check i shall be ordering a new front bumper as im still driving around with the badger damaged one. Struggled to find one on the internet with the headlamp washers so went to the local stealer and got quoted £175 for a genuine new one - quite good i thought. Also a further 150quid to paint it
Shall be shoving new brake pads on the front too as they are getting low, at the moment im thinking of just sticking with the OEM pads as when i get the entire new brake setup of discs and pads ill have to change the pads anyway as you cant have old pads and new discs as they just glaze the disc.
Trying to track down a PD150 turbo aswell to ensure the remap doesnt kill the turbo, also shall be looking into a bigger intercooler, would love a forge but they are expensive. Shall get the PD150 turbo, remap it with the turned down EGR & then when ive saved up again fit a new intercooler along with the new exhaust that im planning on getting.
