right heres an update after a quite few months from me -
after the whole issue with the EGR cooler blowing up on me i got a new one from thePhillospier (sorry if i spelt it wrong) and its worked great until a few days ago...were this one has split to! so refitting the EGR valve and trying to trach down another EGR cooler, then once its refitted i'm going to leave it and get the EGR turned down when i get it remapped.
Next pay check i shall be ordering a new front bumper as im still driving around with the badger damaged one. Struggled to find one on the internet with the headlamp washers so went to the local dealer and got quoted £175 for a genuine new one - quite good i thought. Also a further 150quid to paint it
Shall be shoving new brake pads on the front too as they are getting low, at the moment im thinking of just sticking with the OEM pads as when i get the entire new brake setup of discs and pads ill have to change the pads anyway as you cant have old pads and new discs as they just glaze the disc.
Trying to track down a PD150 turbo aswell to ensure the remap doesnt kill the turbo, also shall be looking into a bigger intercooler, would love a forge but they are expensive. Shall get the PD150 turbo, remap it with the turned down EGR & then when ive saved up again fit a new intercooler along with the new exhaust that im planning on getting.

i have no idea?! i'm not sure if anyone else has experianced it where they bypass the EGR and the cooler decides to give up?
surely though people wouldnt do it as much if that was the case? The main gains i found from bypassing the EGR were increased fuel economy and a slightly better pick up.
However my plan now is to get the EGR turned down with the remap
So can anyone help me??

how many miles do you do a day?
Around 30 miles a day but obviously more at weekends. Looking for around the ability to drop it up to 120mm
You may aswell go budgets mate at 30 miles a day. Also at a 120 drop on the fronts your gunna need some epic stretch going on and also so little bit of arch work. Only budgets hit that low really too.

ah been looking on dpm for a while, so many things i want although after checking over the brakes today while giving her a good clean i found the discs are badly lipped so next payday shall be front brake upgrade

feredo pads - ds2500 are track pads...ok for normal road use or do they need to heat up before they actually work like proper racing brakes?
