It's better than some cars but not very convenient....but having driven like that for 20 odd years it's hard to shake off and trust in the cars functions and obvious capabilities.

Pleased to have made the right choice and we'll be having trip to France in her next week so should be enjoyable

As far as Im aware... unless your very good good at left foot braking, its slower than usual, Hence ive never tried it on the track, not that I can do this in the Ibiza anyway, plus I'd be crap at it.

Ive seen alot of people claim to do it, and yet never seem as fast as they could be.

So then..why do rally drivers use it all the time and are slower if they don;t?

Road use: is a different method of use much of it just for confidence but that makes for faster but yes. you may be right poor use is worse than no use. Much of true speed somes from confidence but you won;t make top grade nowadays without it (in my experience)

With much respect, get it right and it works and cuts times (more so on loose surfaces) but like I said, you'll need to find your own way.....pratcice practice practice.

Ever heard of Rallycross?

You did buy the tdi mate. Would have thought if you where that bothered about going a few seconds faster by left foot braking the petrol would have been a better choice even though you still cant left foot brake? Just a small observation.

Hope you like the new beeza anyways.

If he wanted to be going fast, fast and nothing else but fast maybe he wouldn't have bought an Ibiza, let a lone a petrol one? Controversial I know but life is full of compromises ;)
