seals gone maybe?? dunno, have you got tip off now? can you get to the coolant holes in the turbo? maybe try feeding some water through them to see if it comes out?

i wonder if all this is adding up- my engine coolant was loosing water, limp mode for no reason with no codes showing up, and now me engine is full of water-

what about internal damage to my engine?

ive only just got my car home-towed from girlfriends, havent took tip off yet-just undid the bottom intercooler pipes -as its pee ing it down here..

dont know what to say mate, i'd start with turbo, as you not had it on long

dont blame you mate, could be costly though, but if its turbo could you not make CR turbos pay for it all as its there fault maybe?

good luck mate, feel your pain, had some **** with my car this year, must have spent 4k on it just to fix the damn thing! still love it though

thinking about it, didnt it go back to them once already? oil leaking on it or something?

hi bud i,ve had mine 3 weeks.
on way home from purchasing an started judderin an smoke.
all 4 bores was scored not sayin ur,s is just might be.
showed no faults on scan.
i,ve ad to get new engine.
fingers crossed ur,s somethin silly.
compression test showed 40/80/90/50 instead of 140 on each

Was your turbo fromCR Turbo's aswell? This has got me wondering if it's worth the hastle for mine.............

Why?

you always run the risk of engine failure or component failure if you up the power

but it has nothing to do with the turbo or where it has come from, this statement is irrelevant (unless it proves to be the turbo directly which has caused the failure)

BUT it seems so far from the symptoms, that it is a mechanical issue with the engine not the turbo.

it's worth the hassle if you want the extra power........

yeah, the fact that water is in intercooler and at tip points straight to turbo to me

Did you read this at all? From what I can gather it seems the problem is that coolant is getting into the tip and intercooler pipes because of leaking turbo seals. If this isnt a problem with the turbo I dont know what is...especially if it has ruined his engine! If this is the problem the mechanical issue with the engine has been caused by the turbo. This makes it VERY relevant where it has come from.
