thanks for the comment matey

i got my friend who's a mechanic to dismantle the calipers but basically it weren't too hard...the only part that came completely off the car was the clamping part (if i can call it that), the part that goes across the brake pad. the rest we left connected and just undone the bolts holding them to the car so no bleeding was necessary....removed the pads obviously so had to release the calipers

car's gone into SEAT today until tomorrow...my cupholder flap decided to give in on the way back from alton towers last weekend, and my boost pipe elbow connecting direct to the turbo was worn and coming loose.

all being repaired under warranty though

Nice looking FR mate - we're one of a few zenith grey mk4 FR owners on here

Cupra spoiler makes a massive difference - had a chance to get one at £35 but didn't lol, regret it now.

Will get one soon though ;)

zenith grey all the way is what i say - ;) and it's true, the cupra spoiler does set it off nicely

i need to get some piccies up with the hid's in as well now...unfortunately chances are scarce with the weather

hoping to fit my puddle lights at some stage, but may hold out til the new year

I'll try and get a cupra spoiler in the new year!

I'm guessing your going to want them lights for the winter so just fit them on a dry weekend. Make the most of them lol.

got my hands on a little upgrade on my HID's...a pair of H7R bulbs with anti-glare strips

new head unit also installed as my last one was recently having problems with the bluetooth. new pics coming soon

how did the HID's go?

any new pics - what head unit did you go for been thinking of changing mine.

hey matey, sorry bout the delay...only got back from holiday last night.

my sis washed my car whilst i was away, however, i have a nasty dent on the drivers door so don't want to take any pics yet until thats sorted :(

the HID's are one of the best mods in terms of gains and looks, much better vision at night over standard halogen bulbs.

i went for a Pioneer MVH-8200BT unit with the 3inch screen. The graphic equaliser is excellent on this unit, allowing you to fine-tune 8 seperate frequencies (against the standard 2/3 that you get on head units at the same price), also able to view .avi movies which is a bonus :D (even though the screen is small it's better than nothing)

i shall get some pics up soon once the dent has come out, getting it sorted by the end of the week hopefully...fingers crossed

nice to see there's more than one 5-door zenith grey FR around  thinking about possibly dropping it in the summer...not sure i can be bothered lol

Bummer about the door mate - ive just had to do a bit of body work on mine, respray front end to clear all the bad stone chips then a gash in the rear bumper too! looks good now its all cleared up.

Ive been looking for a new headunit so ill have a look out for that one sounds good.

Yeah you cant beat a good 5door :cartman: not that im biased in anyway!
especially in this colour!

I think drop it mate! transforms the look of the car so much - i went for weitec coilovers on mine and to be honest for the price they are fantastic. AP's are also a good choice if you are on a slightly tighter budget.

wow, it's been a while...

wow, it's been a while...just thought i'd mention i'll be getting these pics up soon, hopefully by the end of the week.

just replaced my front 2 T1R's which lasted 15k miles, rears are still good for another 5k or so...now testing the Proxe-4's.

First MOT due as well, going in tomorrow for that...very expensive month for me...

thought i'd get this pic up of a recent hu upgrade (just before Xmas):

how do you rate the T1R's compared to the Proxes4 ???
had Proxes4 and didn't rate them in the wet:headhurt:.....was thinking of going T1R's
