Lookin forward to the wrap mate :) you going matte black?

na, not black as the black or white seem to be too common and i like to go for something more unique ;)

i'll be going matte anthracite grey (although I was liking the matte white look)

it's gonna be booked in for the first week of June, can't wait

Matte red is sexual...

ye, matte red is sexual but i haven't prepp'd my whip as a red one lol

hopefully the matte anthracite will turn heads just as much ;)

also to add, my coilies are being sorted today so in a few weeks when the wrap is also complete i'll be getting the picckies up :D

thanks for looking guys n gals

I am not a fan of matt wapping, but that colour is awsome. So much easyer to clean and no marks if its a daliy. Mind if i ask whos wrappign it for you ?

for some reason i have a thing for dark grey coloured cars...and yes mine is a daily vehicle with no visible marks (i do my best with her)

tbh i wasn't really a fan of it as it became very common...but then i noticed that most were simply white, black or carbon, and i have a mate who did his s2000 in matte white and looks really smart.

i'm getting it done by wrappingcars[dot]co[dot]uk as they have pics of vehicles they've done and look alright, plus they gave me a good price compared to other wrappers.

by going matte anthracite i still keep the colour as "grey" so shouldn't attract too much unwanted attention ;) but hopefully gives her a more unique look amongst the rest of the traffic

i'll be debadging the 'IBIZA' off the tailgate as well for a slightly cleaner rear end and hopefully i can get a good deal on my Milltek cat-back soonish...

...then that'll be it for me unfortunately

right...i took the plunge and got some cosmetics for the whip and due to arrive Friday, hopefully won't have any problems fitting.

i'll hopefully be booking the vehicle wrap for next week, the guy seems to do quite a decent job of it so looking forward.

then during the Summer will hopefully get my Milltek cat-back fitted (price dependant)

last but not least if Forge manage to produce a boost pipe kit for the pd130's then that will be going in to replace all the oem pipes as the clips keep coming loose

pics will be up in the following order as they are completed:

- cosmetics with matte vinyl wrap
- milltek or boost pipes (whichever arrives first)

thanks for looking peeps :D

Only real way to upgrade the boost pipes is to go for an fmic I think mate, could be a worthwhile (but expensive) mod :)

ye i know, i have thought about it but looking at the cost of this SMIC pipe kit once it's been produced by Forge (currently in progress)...it shouldn't be too expensive and i won't have to fork out for a FMIC plus new pipes and the work of trimmin bits here and there to get it all to fit neatly behind the bumper.

i won't be looking for the extra power but just want the reliability of the forge pipes and clips over the standard malarky which keep loosening with the upgraded pressure

small update took place today. As a woman decided to roll into my rear bumper (which is going in for repair) the wrap will have to wait. but took the dive and got me a set of r8 style projector headlights:

i haven't shown the headlights on as i don't have the HID bulbs in yet and don't like the standard yellow look lol

as soon as I get the whip back from the bodyshop i'll get some pics up of the new headlights as just before I managed to sort out the HID bulbs and the levelling [B)]

keep posted for resulting look so far

soon to come...matte wrap hehehe

quick update as i got my whip back from the bodyshop with a new rear...thought i'd get pics up of how it's sitting now and with the new r8-style headlights

thanks for looking...more coming soon

to matte or not to matte?...

i'm debating whether to invest in the matte grey wrap now...just adding up the costs and don't know whether it looks better (now with the r8 style headlights) staying as is

i'm definately going to get the Forge boost pipe kit when it's ready and the Milltek cat-back this summer (i hope)...

any opinions would be appreciated :)
