Oil Catch Tank..Why you need one.

Fully synthetic, its not the oil, every body gets oil in the pipe work hence the catch tank, the gunk is due to moisture from the air mixing with the oil vapour.

Thats the same as mine except i have removed more of the oe pipe work.

only notice smell if she's had a kickin and I'm sat at traffic or slow movin.

The toxic fumes will be entering the cabin constantly, no matter if go fast slow or stopped.

Great thread looks like easiest way is post 72 just need to find a decent can with piping.

I didnt have any gunk whatsoever in my PCV system after 4 years of driving...

bit different for me but my EGR valve was really caked up after 50 - 60k on clock
