Oil filter removal tool

Right last time I had to result in punching a hole in this with a screw driver and spinning it off that way as it was a proper PITA.
So whats the best tool/size to get this off easier?

does the job perfectly, i used one similar, push it on from under the filter, use socket and screw off.. easy peasy/

i got a cool one from halfords it has like 3 prongs that tighten as your tighen to grip the filter, i needed to buy it for my old 306 as it had a tilted engine and was the only tool that would work/fit
only used it once but it is pretty cool lol

if you go from the bottom and remove the intercooler link pipe it makes getting the tool on much easier

Aye it was in the way the last time I did this but I'll remove it this time and car will be in bits new time
