Oil usage

I know all turbo cars use a little oil, how much would be acceptable?

In 5 months mines had a litre of oil. Due for a service very soon.

well mine had a service at westec about 4-5months ago and has used no oil so far that i can see

I had mine serviced about 4-5 months ago (may be 6 months im not sure) and i have just had to put in about 1/2 a litre

Jonzy, the amount of logging you do i'd say thats pretty much ok.

Don't think so, if a cars well looked after it shouldn;t be drinking oil - ibiza's are not like 15 year old 'retro' R5's etc.

I would say 1/2 a litre of oil every 6 months is fine.

Thats fine then, if its drinking oil then there is a problem.

I like to check my oil etc every month or so, and my car hasn't used any (every car will vary i imagine), suppose it depends on how hard you drive the car etc.

I collected mine in january and its not used a drop since then, and my car gets its fair share off beans, still just because its not using oil it still neads servicing every 5k imo.

Agree keeping good servicing is a good idea!
