Passenger Speaker Grille

Hi Guys,

As of today I now own a 57 Plate Cupra TDI - love this car, although its very different to my old Mazda3 MPS.

I need to get a new speaker grille for the passenger door and I was wondering whether the grille is the same across all MK4s?

No ideas anyone? I know it won't be a common problem, but surely someone knows?

I aren't sure you can just buy the grill.
I thought it was all one unit with the door trim. But don't trust me on this

I took apart my interior door panels to get to the speakers behind today, and it comes off as 1 panel...including the speaker grill. You may have to replace the whole panel, i dont think you can just replace the speaker grill.

Well my door is just missing the grill and it looks like it clips into a selection of holes? Maybe it was glued in and someone just wrenched it out! Bit annoying if I have to buy the whole panel

I know what you mean. Cos it is a seperate part to the door trim. If you pull on the edges it pulls away from the trim as a seperate part.

But I think you buy the panel as one unit. What a downer.

I was going to see whether I could get one from the breakers, if I can find one...

Might be worth a try. Then just glue the clips back in.
