Here's my new Toy after being clayed and 3 layers of wax.

And these are some pics of my lightly modded Passat which I sold for an X-Trail
Then I saw sense and bought the Leon

Mods to the Leon so far;

Honda Civic Aerial, Cupra badge on front grille, Leather Hand brake Cover, Sony Xplode Head Unit, Infinity Reference speakers in front doors, CD multichanger in glove box replaced with proper glove box pocket. Replaced the orange indicator bulbs with the blue coated (RS Focus style) bulbs from Halfords.
Also replaced broken drivers side fog lamp and grille.

Planned Mods in future;

Cupra R front splitter, Golf Mk.4 front aeroblade conversion, Rear aeroblade conversion from VAGParts, replace rear speakers with same as front. Mk.6 Fiesta smoked side repeaters.

My plan is to keep it looking nice and subtle as it is also my everyday driver.

Nice looking car Pat, looks like someone has already replaced the indicator bulbs with silvered ones too.

I wouldn't bother doing a thing with the rear speakers, maybe get a small amp for the front ones or for a small sub for the boot.

If you really enjoy cleaning, cannot reccomend a machine polisher enough - it will cost a bit ... take up a couple of weekends but the end result is worth it.

nice motor, how did you get the cupra badge on the front grill?

Ordered a boot badge - part no. 1ml 853 687B from SEAT dealers which has sticky already on it. Cleaned grille with alcohol wipe and then stuck it on.

And some with my new wheels and the car lowered 30mm on Weitec springs.

I was originally getting the 18" A8 wheels but that fell through and I saw these on e-bay and thought they'd really suit the car and the look I am after Just waiting for the SEAT wheel badges to come through and they're sorted. Wheels are 17" Inovit GTR's with TOYO Proxes tyres.

So what do you think

How do you find the springs? Thinking of getting some for my Ibiza FR!

There a bit firmer than the OEM ones but not as bad as some I've fitted to other cars I've owned.

Sadly I have now left the SEAT fold , a little bit to do with circumstances arising and have traded the Leon in for a Renault Laguna 1.9 dci Sport Tourer which is a bit more practical at the moment.
I want to say thanks for all the useful advice and help I have had from the members of the forum and I will still be logging in from time to time as this forum is still a mine of useful information and at the end of the day I may be able to pass advice on to other members still.

Well gents I may be coming back to the Seat fold very soon. Since the laguna I've had a tweaked A3 followed by a very modded and rapid T4 transporter and currently got a passat but have chance of a fully loaded Altea 2.0 tdi sport just waiting to see if the deal is on.
Will post some pics if the deal goes through.
