Hi Mate Cupra looks unreal
hope you dont mind me asking a few questions

how hard did you find fitting the front mount i have ramp ect if i need it just worried about
all the pipe work looks like it has to go everywhere also what was the downpipe you got
have you got a link? Thank's

Thanks for your comments, front mount really easy tbh, i got a pipe kit of ebay and it all went together a treat. I got the down pipe from HERE and adapted it a bit to fit my piper cat back.
 
Thanks Bud whats the diffrence between size from standard downpipe the when i got my Cupra it had a miltek system and sports cat cat was under the car so i just got same size pipe and welded in to take the sports cat out but still running on standard downpipe
will this make a diffrence to what iv got or is it same size just a de-cat down pipe? and cheers mate i was going to get the pipe kit off ebay aswell as my girlfriend has got me the intercooler from santa so the ebay jobbies work in with all the bends and fitting in the bay ok?

Well i have eventually got rid of the incorrect correlation between cam and crank signal fault code :lol I replaced both the cam and the crank sensors but it was still there so i got a new cam chain tensioner and fitted that i was getting the slapping chain noise on start up aswell so it needed doing i have been for a drive and all is well and no fault codes :D, when i was doing the tensioner i also found the exhaust cam is out of time by about 2-3 teeth on the pulley so i will be sorting that out in the next week or so, so will be fitting a new cam belt and water pump at the same time, i was just going to do the cam timing and put the original cam belt back on but its alot of work do do and not change it and as its due another one about now anyway i will wait until then.

Fitted the LCR undertray yesterday, totaly covers the front of the car, much better than the LC one.

I had a practice run a couple of weeks ago when i did the inlet cam and cam tensioner, which is when i found the exhaust cam was not timed right , it was about three teeth out (advanced) the worst bit is getting the belt on and keeping all the timing marks lined up, i had the belt on three times before i got it right. Not sure how long the timing had been out i had the cam belt done when i bought it but not looked at the timing in 3 years not sure what that might mean now regarding the map?

I just picked up the bottom bit for £35 so well happy with that, the good thing about the LCR under tray is it covers the whole of the engine unlike the LC one which just covers the front.
 
I had it done by the dealer. I had it on Bills rollers and it was pulling 9's (probably due to the timing being out) on the timing so he knocked 5 Degrees of but now i have effectively retarded the timing , should i put that 5 degrees back on? i am going to do some logs asap so i can see what its doing now.

given it was mapped with wrong cam timing phil, its not going to be right now...
remember your v.high timing pull!

logs just emailed to you (remembered finally!)

on physical timing you were'nt running barely into double digit numbers, where "correct" cars will run 33 degree's off load light load and drop into the teens under boost, and rise back into the teens as the revs climb.. Compare to a sample of a few others I have logged to get a feel for how different yours is running:

Cheers Bill, well its all done and i can feel the difference the torques back, it now accelerates harder, just need to do the logs, i am just plodding around until i know what its doing. I have made a new turbo pipe to go between the turbo and the charge pipe the old one was quite restrictive and looked crap. I also found some headlight washer jets i liked, the pop out ones where going to be a PITA to fit and i could of ended up scrapping the bumper so decided to go for these, they are from a Porsche 944 and do the job very nicely, they are all wired up into properly courtesy of Kofatech who make the looms, they only work when the lights are on and only after the stalk has been held back continuously for a few of seconds, and only squirt for a few seconds. Also thought i would post a pic of my old water pump and the new one.

Those washer jets look much sleeker than the chunky honda ones
If you need a hand doing the logging give me a shout
I may ask you to quickly log mine too so i can see if next months 3" TIP brings some gain
