Removing the old system!

i also replaced the engine mounts as they had dropped down a bit

a vast improvement also changed the gear box mount while i was at it

fitted some sound insulation also to make it much quieter

and removed the seats front and rear to give them a good cleaning!

while the inlet manifold was out i gave it a darn good cleanisin!
so started by oxidise the oil

then painted it with exhaust paint that will stand up to 600oC

i fitted a new fuel filter and filled it with injector cleaner so as soon as it enters the cylinders its at its best and not diluted

then the big day! wednesday the 4th of march, it arrived

behold its glory

i went straight into the shed and started rebuilding it

on goes the manifold

battrery and airbox

charge pipes!

goin shortly to remap it but ive bedded the car in with 200 miles and its boosting perfectly! love the noises it makes ! sounds like a petrol turbo

its got 2 maps put on it! standard is 173 bhp with 285 ilft

and the race map is 254.5 bhp and 367ibft1

its absolutely amazing, i cant stop laughin tbh, just power power power power, all the way to 5000, then gear change, power power unending power!

Very nice, but I am surprised the stock injectors fuel enough for 250+ bhp. That's why I had to swap in some race injectors because whatever I tried I could not get the car past about 230bhp, due to lack of fuelling. Got plenty of fuel now though.

no mate, decided on the last minute not to bother, at i was orginally going for what the injectors are suspose to do at max around 230 as alot have ended up getting, but they seem to have exceeded alot of expections!

Sprint 520s are for the non PD engines. For PD you need Race783 nozzles from Bosio, and get them refitted to the oem PD injector units, balanced, tested, then fitted.
