If i cant get my workaround to work i think adding a swirl pot might be an option. But i think just turning the hoses around raising the header tank might work.
Took a quick pic of it on my phone last night.
The feed point on the turbo is about the same level as the head tank fill line, the flange position when compared to others seems higher on mine exageratting the potential problem.
See Bill @ Badger 5's build using the same turbo and strut brace so you can gauge clearance under.
Anyone think i might be barking up the wrong tree here and this is not my issue?

can the pipe that the banjo fits to not be made shorter so its not up so high or swivel the banjo around a bit if space allows?
does the banjo bolt have a washer between the hex part and the banjo and between the banjo and turbo as im pretty sure that can interfere with flow as the hole doesnt line up like it should?
also should that hose to the top of the rocker cover have a jubilee clip on it?

clockthe turbo 90 degrees so the oil feed is on the verticle axis and the coolant is on the horizontal?

Yeah the chra is clocked like yours, but with the banjo fitting the hoses point upwards.

Done a couple of small things this weekend, I've managed to flip the coolant return on the back of the turbo 180 degrees so it now points down and also tried the same on the front one with little success.
Im going to make up an extension piece that will bring the banjo out from the centre of the turbo so it can exit horizontally which will make the centre of the turbo the highest point in the system besides the header tank, which i have no raised slightly to make sure its above the turbo.
A good bleed next weekend after i make this extension and hopefully its going to be solved.
Might look at the oil return today as well.

Mine seem the same as Jonny's coolant runs through and oil top and bottom. Wak told me that it's vital that oil return is vertically downwards so that the oil drains in the most effecient way possible as it's only gravity which pulls it out from the turbo.
Yeah thats why i hate my oil return so much as its twists and bends all shapes.
All GT series have this oil and coolant layout Joe. The turbo inlet and outlet hasn't moved, just the hose entry/exit as its a banjo fitting which is basically a 90 degree fitting.
I'll get some pics up when i get the extension made this week.

I sort of thought....sod it I'll crack on, so I did. Managed to do it a couple of hours a night after work and this weekend.

Can anyone confirm that coolant fitting size on the GT series turbos? Is it M14x1.5 as per OEM size?
Yes I've used the OEM coolant banjo from the back of the block on the turbo. Did it by default because I put the new banjo in the block instead of the turbo lol.
As i couldnt find a m14 x 1.5 die i had to change my design for the extension piece (I did have a M14x1.5 tap tho). I managed to find a male-male m14 x 1.5 adaptor which will fit to the turbo then this piece will extend out past turbo where the banjo will bolt to and run horizontall across the valve cover. Hopefully with these changes and a decent bled i wont have any more issues.
Alright mate, i think im all good now thanks for the offer but if my option doesnt quite work like i want it to i might give you a shout.
