lookin good:clap:

D.K are you doing this yourself if how the hell do you do it .i fancy giving it a bash myself but know how to do it

Yes mate I do them myself :D
It's not easy, it take's a long time and it makes a lot of mess
First strip off the paint with a drill and wire brush, the use graded wet and dry sandpaper to get rid of the scratch's then polish with wirewool and autosol.
Or you could pay me and I'll do it for you ;)

Hiya guys, new to the forum and was just having a ganders at this thread.

I have sprayed many items in my current car such as the engine cover, i just used primer and normal paint and lacquer after sanding through the grades of course. Basically i was just wondering if you needed to use heat resistant paint on the engine covers in the Cupra's? I'm sure those engines get a bit hotter than my engine in my Polo lol

A pic would be good if you can ;) I might be able to knock something up then

I keep forgetting to get you a pic mate but I've just had a look on the net and its basically the same motor as this [maybe slightly bigger] and where the spindle sticks out its got a adaptor that takes a spike with a left hand thread to take the wheels.

I looked at the wheels to, the finer ones are cotton/cloth I not sure what the stage one wheel is.

Its just like that secured down to a bench with some big ass straps to stop it moving about........very simple but very powerfull so works a treat :)
