might need to just buy the rainsports, run them and then transfer them onto a wider rim for a streeeeetch 
i got a set on here for a ton , they were not in good shape , but a refurb made them mint !

My friend can get mines fitted and balanced on monday morning, so im thinking of just doing that tbh.

white wheels look ace for the 5 mins after cleaning them. Once you've drove for 20 seconds (especially driven in anger) they look filthy and then look crap. Love the look of them but not for my car!
Lovin the MK3 rims on MK2 though! Imagine how mint it would look dropped to the weeds on them rims!

I think they can't be beaten on a Black or Kiwi Ibiza in white, yes they do take a bit of work to keep clean but if you've got a black car like myself you know it's a bi*ch to keep looking top form anyway, but them's is the sacrifices you make to have the bomb looking car!
I have a set of Silver Ronals up for grabs above average condition (not to much bubbling) No Tyres for £100 collected or + P&P if anyones after them, there's a bloke on ebay that will arrange carrage!
Will have another set in White in spanking good nick once I've raised the funds for some pukka brakes as going White 16" Pro Race or OZ UltraLeggeraa's so Brembo's will fit!

I've had a few pm's with different options, the ones laid out to me just now are:
1) 4 new tyres @ £180ish
2) cupra wheels, 2 very good tyres, 2 ok @ £200+courier
3) some rubbish 17s + 4 very good tyres @ £50+ courier (£20)
I'm now swaying towards the 17s, and keep the rest of the money on some proper rims. its starting to make sense, i think

cheers mate, yee i see what your saying and as long as you don't mind the poo ride on 17's for a lil while could be a worthwhile long term investment if your gunna get some mint rims at the end of it.
