I saw these on your car at Donny start of last year they did look good.

Thanks mate! i do love look of them, and the fact most think they real carbon!

one lad at a cruise asked me 'how did you get them to look like carbon? paint them?'
i said 'yeah, went to halfords and brought carbon paint'
He was like 'wow' they do look good'
To which i replied 'i do like them but ive ordered some burbrey look paint and will be re-doing them next week'

He realised i was taking the piss then and wondered off HA HA!:lol:

There imported by a local wheel supplier (plannet wheels) as they are. Cost me £650 with fedral tyres (which are amazing tyres for money!!!).

Ive done about 5K on them (if that). Rear tyres still look new!!!!!

I feel the same as Roelích and maybe a few others on here.

Yes i know diesels give a good mpg and i also know that tdi's can go but.......

Im to much of a petrol junkie. I dont think i will ever own a diesel or even a turbo diesel.

Any turbo car that i have in the future will be petrol!! [B)]

Driving a diesel is like being gay. It's more acceptable than it used to be, but it's still fcukin' wrong!

Nah, nothing against diesels per se. If you do a lot of miles then fair enough.

My main issue with dervs is that they are bought to save money, and saving money isn't cool.

Also, it's the marketing (genius by the way) Convinving people that there is such a thing as a performance diesel car. There isn't. Diesel is not a performance fuel. Petrol is not an economical fuel. So the question is, are you a tight ba$tard or are you interested in performance?

ive got a diesel so that i can pull trailers easilly, and i used to own a peugeot 306 1.9d turbo putting out about 140bhp, so performance diesels do exist, but i do agree with you its not really a high performance fuel, audi seam to think so R8 diesel?

petrol = performance
diesel = tourgue and mpg
Thats just my personal opinion though, not trying to offend anyone

and about the marketing lol go and look at golfs, nearly everyone is called sport lol bit of a joke calling a 1.4 a sport, doesent mean anything anymore, gti is just a name now not a speed lol

this makes me laugh people getting on their high horse i agree with some of your views on diesels but to say that diesel cannot perform is silly!!!!

my neighbours SAAB diesel will rip me a new one, twin turbo derv with 50mpg.
