Post pics of Dynatwist/cone filter mounting

Would like to see some pics of how your cone filters are mounted please.

I have made a bracket up to stop it falling about the engine bay, out of a long bracket that was on my dynatwist already that I hammered into shape and an old chopped up bracket for the vacuum res. onto one that would have held the airbox in place by the looks of things. But as you can imagine its fairly flimsey, Just like to see what other peoples are like.....

given you are running the Dynatwist without its "lid" as such the supplied fitting includes a strap which supports the outer housing (missing) so it does'nt flop about.

Yeh thanks, I still have that, just it isn't much use with the heatshield off. Was looking to see how other people had mounted their cone filters.

much cheaper ways of getting a big filter on there than a dynatwist and taking off its housing..

Yeh i see. This filter was already fitted when I bought my car though. I will look for one of those bigger filters if I get a decent sized turbo. Only on KO3S just now. Do the big cone filters come with mountings/attachments? Thanks.

no, mostly come plain.. some have stud moulded in the end of the cone filter to mount a brkt to etc tho
