Quick LCR mods...

So its sunday and i feel i should be doing sumthing to the Leon...

I need sum mods to do that involve little or no parts (I do have a garrage full of stuff though so try me!)

Any ideas what i can do to satisfy my need to play ?

How about smoothing+drilling your airbox with a bigger feed to compliment your green panel:

Just finished the n249 bypass and took it for a spin... not much difrence to be honest but the boost did seem a bit more positive/responsive so that can only be a good thing right

Also took off the bonnet sound deadening/heat shield, again not much but can deff hear the 007p and turbo whistle better

can someone just confirm I did the bypass correctly ?

The reason there is an extra bit that is blocked off is that the only joiner i had was a 'T' piece from a washer pump so i just blanked it.

Bypass is correct buddy, but stick a cable tie round that bolt you have blocked the pipe with - just stop boost leaking past it

From what I've read.... Stops the solenoid from dumping the boost too early, so allows the boost to hold longer. Puts more pressure on your DV but if you have an uprated one like the 007p its not going to be an issue.

N249 can be a PITA. When you start to lose traction, it tells the ECU to dump.
