Fitted the Badger 5 V2 TIP today.

V2 vs V1:

I fitted the billet adapter and decided to let the sealant set before fitting the TIP. So I gave the car a wash:

I love the colour of the wheels, keep catching myself staring at them when I walked past the car.

I've also stuck the old N75 valve back on. Driving to Teeside tomorrow so I'll be able to see if it'll hold boost properly.

Cheers for looking :)

wheels look amazing mate! really like that the car is a beast

N75 info i have

You need the 'F' version which is now technically the 'E' version with the latest part number.
The number most likely written on your current N75 is 058-906-283F but has now changed to 06A 906 283E:

Cheers for mate :D, those part numbers are bang on. So its not down to it being the wrong N75, the E is the F's replacement. it'll be interesting to see if the car is better with the old valve back on.

Been out in the car today and at least its holding boost better now. I'm still not entirely happy with the way the car feels to drive but I'm out of time now so it'll have to do for AMD. We'll see what it makes on the rollers and then I can go from there.

Got my hands on a set of polyuthrene 23mm arb bushes for £15 today, should of really fitted a set when the R32 arb went on but I was being a tight  planning on having a fully polbushed car in the future.

Saying as my JR filter is still on back order with partbox[:@], I've decided to give the K&N a clean and re-oil for AMD.

before (looking a bit discoloured):

took the BPI flow stack off:

Also been on the phone to Dave at Sere today to explain the N75 issue and how I thought the new E valve was faulty due to the car not holding boost properly when fitted but being better once the old F valve was back on. Dave is sending me another E valve in the post to try, before I even get the old one back to him:D now thats customer service

Dave doesn't mess about with customer service does he, top bloke.

Filter looks to have come up a treat for a clean mate.

One day closer to AmD.... ;)

Yeah Daves spot on mate, filter looks decent but still wish I had the JR to see if it flows better. Just ordered something new, really need to learn to save

Filter looks good :)

Re. the TIP, a couple of folk (Bill included) have suggested that the pipe that gets in the way can be persuaded to shift with a little bit of force, I'm going to try that at the weekend :)

:D I said the exact same thing when Sam originally got one, it is rather decent. Its from Porsche mate cost about £18, they do a coolant cap that matches it but I'm after some different caps for everywhere else;)
