Hi all,

I have the rewind tool shown below from when I changed the pads on my last car (Alfa Spider), and was wondering if any one could tell me the lightly hood of this fitting my LCR, (ideally I don’t want to take the caliper off just to find it doesn’t fit). The end of the tool is reversible and has lugs 6mm in diameter, 22mm apart (center to center) on one side and 33.5mm on the other. Under ‘Applications’ it lists several manufactures, but none are VAG, any one know if it will do the job?

Cheers.

should be universal unless stated otherwise but you can get the piston back in other ways  just make sure you remove the brake fluid resevoir cap before you start to try

Chees for the responses, I shall give it a go in the very near future, the dealer wanted £97 to replace the pads!!
