Remap booked. Will a forge valve invalidate my warranty?

Hi

Booked in on Wednesday for a stge 1 remap on my cupra petrol with p torque. I'm loving it at the moment, its just its a bit quiet! I was wanting to get a forge recirculating valve and a green panel filter but will they affect my warranty?

You're worried about a DV invalidating your warranty, but not a remap? In answer to your question... technically yes, but you've got bigger things to worry about with the remap.

I wouldnt worry about either to be honest.
I bought a 08 TDI Ibiza, First mod I did was an exhaust system and a remap, Neither invalidated my warrenty and neither WILL unless the mod causes the problem.

Granted the dealers dont even CHECK for remaps even if the turbo has blown.

Thanks for the reply. My gearbox was fixed under warranty a while ago and would have cost me a fortune without it. Will get them ordered this week

to be honest i've had a remap, panel filter, DV all done for a while and dealers havent noticed it or have just turned a blind eye.

thats good to know. Is it quite a bit louder with the mods?

i still get items done under warranty even with mine fairly modified

turbo noise increases a bit as well as the DV with be a bit noisier but not that LOUD

they might not even realise it has been remapped, if you take it down and say the gearbox has packed in, they arent gunna stick it on a computer to see what the problem is. with the recirculation valve, you could just take it off befor you take it down to get anywork done on it if youre seriously bothered.
