Well if you think about it, diesel turbo dont come with any dv at all. asume they must have something similer!

The whole point of the dv is to stop the pressure going back through the turbo when the throttle is closed. A diesel doesn't have a throttle plate so it can't be closed. The excess pressure just goes through the engine.
