Removing engine cover.

High i just looked under my bonet and my engine cover is missing its seat badge and looks a bit pants. so i thoguht id spray it as seat say i got to buy a whole new cover. so i have two questions.


1. how do i remove the cover.

2. is the cover the same as others so if i look on ebay would say a golf cover fit etc etc.

No its not the same!
Even LC and LCR are Diff never mind TDI and LC/LCR.

ok so not the same but what abouts removing the bugger. I dont want to yank it off to find half my pistons fall out the bottom.




*exagerating, maybe! Will it happen, with my luck most likely.

Think the Diesel ones just pull, my Golf Pd130 did anyway,
the LCR has 2 small plastic 1/4 turb screw then lifts!

P.s. watch out fot the dipstick, has a habbit of coming with the engine cover, just push it through!
