Removing engine cover?

would anyone be able to give me a guide as to how to remove my engine cover? 1.6 S, 02. Seems like theres loads of screws but I would have thought it would be easier than this?!

They are not screws you just need to twist them round and the cover should come off, use a screw driver, or any other flat thing.

i think on the 1.6 you just pull it up sharply, but make sure you pull it straight up square.

its a tight fit but should just pop off.

is the 1.6 the one with the airbox built in to the cover?? if so i think there's a guide in the info base section of scn (not the forum)

I want to be sure before I just try and pull it off.. had a few diff answers? Iknow nothing at all about engines or anything, trying to learn! It has a tube running across the front of the cover, I gave it a fairly big pull and nothing seemed to happen..
